- Housing benefit office

...and also with other personal and administrative issues.

We offer information, advice and support to act as a "bridge" between those seeking advice and local and regional support services. The aim is to stabilise precarious living situations and enable people to participate in society again.

EhAP Plus programme

"TIA SiWi" is funded by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the European Union through the Social Fund Plus (ESF Plus). The programme name stands for "Integration helps against exclusion of the most disadvantaged people" and thus describes its objectives. The programme is aimed at people within the EU who are most at risk of poverty, discrimination and exclusion. This includes EU immigrants and their families who have no or insufficient access to the support system. Particular attention is paid to recognised minorities with strong experiences of exclusion. The focus is also on homeless people or those at risk of homelessness and their children.

In addition to counselling individuals, information events and workshops are offered to raise awareness and educate people about the special circumstances of these disadvantaged groups. These are aimed at institutions and the (professional) public as well as social work organisations.

As part of the programme, the district of Siegen-Wittgenstein, together with Alternative Lebensräume, Caritasverband and Diakonie Soziale Dienste, is able to offer counselling and support services for the respective target groups.

The "TIA SiWi" project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus (ESF Plus) as part of the "EhAP Plus" programme.
